320 - Another shot from my Friday walk in the snow. Here, the River Ouse flows sedately past the south-west corner of Rawcliffe Ings on it's way towards York city centre.
I've taken a number of shots of this view at different times and seasons, but this is the first time the view has made it into my project. The scene here is very different to that in summer. This quiet tranquil winter scene is replaced by a busy scene with youngsters swimming in the river and sunbathing on the bank.
Personally I prefer the peace and tranquillity of the winter scene.
