Frost Fringed Leaves by if1

Frost Fringed Leaves

321 - I love the way that mother nature uses snow and frost to decorate details in the landscape. Here the edges of these leaves are fringed with hoar frost, which nicely highlights their shaped. Well done mother nature!
Coming from a very hot part of Australia, these cold frost and snow pictures grab me every time - a beautiful shot!

Again a lovely picture Ian. the hoar frost outlines the leaves beautifully.
I guess the air is too dry here, I never see this type of frost on our plants. the weather decided it's time for some snow again, very lightly so no snow shovelling for me yet.

Thank you Molly. The particularly low temperature along with snow and humidity created this. Sadly, it won't last very long when the sun gets on it.
