Flamingos are the national bird. Our taxi driver pointed to where they were, but also told us that we could not go there as it was a protected area.
Whilst husband and kids were enjoying themselves by the hotel pool, I went for a walk....
It was quite a walk and I didn't dare to go any closer, but it was worth it!
