The pool in our backyard is old. And to maintain it is a lot of work. On top of that it is expensive and we don't really use it. So it will go. The last week I have phoned several contractors, have 2 quotes already and am expecting the last guy to turn up tomorrow. Then I hope they can start soon, the only worry is that maybe these beautiful dragonflies might not visit my garden without a pool.
@woofandweft1 You are probably right regarding the dragonflies Deborah. The neighbors (left, right and behind) still have pools. We will put grass, hopefully in a couple of weeks. For my dogs and 12 yr old son who is a soccer player and does not go anywhere without his soccer ball (except school, because I don't allow him to ;))
