Little White Ibis

I took some Google research to confirm that this is a little White Ibis. Reminds me of the "Ugly duckling".
Taken at the soccer fields. The fields were flooded in April and it just didn't dry because of the wet weather we had. Some fields are now in use and the rest is just a heaven for bird-watchers and/or people with a camera ;)

Oh how I would love to be able to bird watch there and especially to be able to see one of these! Another bird we don't get over here. What a great capture, s/he looks to be in rather a hurry.

@stephanies I be lucky now with these birds, but when we were in Europe I really enjoyed seeing all the colors. Here the outside seems to be boring brown and green, whereas I saw flowerbeds with great colors and don't forget the autumn trees. Here it will take forever, if they are even changing colors. Conclusion: every place has its pro's and cons!
