We will have visitors for Christmas and the ceilings downstairs in our house look horrible. We have a big whole as we had a leakage from the bathroom upstairs and it was easier to open up the ceiling. The visitors room is also downstairs and the walls do not look good either, so I thought before I get some professional painters in for the ceilings, I can paint the walls. However, when I went out to get paint, the choice was too big. I took sample colors home. Everyone wrote his/her name on their favorite and in the end I went for Demyan's.
I love the names of paints, they can be quite amusing sometimes I think. I like Demyan's choice too. We had the same thing happen here after we bought his house and like yours was caused by a leak under the bath... We called the plumber in and we were so cross to find that when he took the side panel away from the bath, there was a pot directly under the leak that had obviously been placed there by the previous owners who therefore knew about it but did not bother to tell us! That leak cost as a new ceiling as well. :(

You are right about the paint-color-names, some people have had great inspiration sometimes. Slowly but surely I started painting and according to Yelena the color is "Dark White". Good thing she didn't have to name them, because I think "Barcelona Rain" will sell better than "Dark White" ;)

You are right about the paint-color-names, some people have had great inspiration sometimes. Slowly but surely I started painting and according to Yelena the color is "Dark White". Good thing she didn't have to name them, because I think "Barcelona Rain" will sell better than "Dark White" ;)
