As you might know my oldest, Nadya, is crazy about music. She does band at another High School than where she does her academic course work.
On a voluntary basis band student (when good enough) can participate in orchestra to make it a "full orchestra" (otherwise it would be strings only). Of course my daughter participated and I was more than happy to go to the concert. In this picture everybody is on stage for the grand finale
Wow, how lovely to see so many young people all playing together like that. I am sure it was a fabulous concert. I like the poinsettias all around the stage, very festive.
It was a fabulous concert, @stephanies! Actually I liked this one best, but the other concerts were good too.
The concerts are free (probably for the parents to see what their children have been doing; these kids are all between 14 and 18 years old) and my elderly neighbor told me that she and a friend went to this concert too. They picked wisely!
