Our first stop was Lafayette (Louisiana). We walked through the small city in the morning in search of a place to have breakfast. We found breakfast and some lovely murals. This was my favorite. I also liked the old fashioned parking meters. Only coins worked ;)
It's quite a lovely mural, the really trees sort of fit in with the scene nicely too. I can't remember the last time I saw a coin meter like that...at one time they used to line London's streets too.
