Pumpkin seed by ingrid01

Pumpkin seed

When I cleaned out first pumpkin last week I put some seeds on a piece of wet kitchen towel. They are growing crazy and now I'm not sure what to do with them. Putting them in a pot won't work because they grow so well, but I don't want them in my garden either...
Great perspective - would a school like them?

@mandygravil - at the pre-school where I work every classroom got a pumpkin to carve for Halloween. Most teachers planted the seeds, so they have enough and mine will go in the trash. However, it was amazing to see them grow so well! And fun to take a picture!
Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to comment!

@onewing & @lisammcloskey - it is amazing and interesting indeed. Last year we had a huge vine with flowers, but never managed to grow a pumpkin because you need a male and female flower to bloom at the same time.

@ingrid01 Ha ha - those of us who have worked in schools always have a range of things we don't know what to do with :)

Terrific shot! Isn't it amazing what will grow in a wet towel?! When I was teaching we always did seed sprouting Science activities with seeds and wet paper towels . . . the students loved it! :-)
