Believe it or not, but the caterpillar had almost eaten all the leaves overnight! So I asked our neighbor if we could get some more milkweed (our milkweed is growing, but still very small after the last caterpillars ate it all). I'm not here, but go ahead.
When we arrived with our scissors, we found another caterpillar. Mr.Scott, the husband, told my daughter to not get the flowers, but as we needed to take the 2nd caterpillar home and it was on a branch with flowers we took it. Last time I did not see them eat flowers, but this on loving it!
I've sent this picture to my neighbors and I'm sure they are OK with it. And we probably need to get some more milkweed!
The Monarchs need your help, grow all the native Milkweed you can. I had the great thrill of visiting 2 Monarch Sanctuaries in California a couple of years ago, memories which will stay with me as long as my mind does!
Lovely, clear shot, hope your caterpillar becomes a butterfly

@jesika2 Thank you for stopping by Jesika! Yes, this caterpillar became a butterfly. Since August I've raised just over 10 butterflies. It is very exciting and rewarding and I cannot wait until the spring!
