Last week I noticed a lot of activity at the electrical substation. During hurricane Harvey (end of Aug 2017) all this was underwater and damaged, so they had to build something temporarily ( http://365project.org/ingrid01/365/2017-09-01 and http://365project.org/ingrid01/365/2017-09-02). I do not know what the plans are, but it looks like they are going to build a bigger substation.
What I don't like is that they made such a mess outside of the fence too, because that is where I let my dogs off the leash. I cannot do that now because of the dirt
@louannwarren & @henrir - yes unfortunately there is still a lot to be done... We were lucky, but many neighbors are still living elsewhere and working on their houses. On Facebook many commented that last Monday it was actually exactly 5 months since they flooded. I missed a few days, but will fill that with progress of our neighborhood.
@gaylewood - so true, always a mess with construction... but I was really hoping that they would not touch the strip of green (yellow at the moment) at my side of the fence so that I still could let the dogs off the leash.
