Last year my daughters painted eggs with rice and food color. Put rice in a container, add some food color and a boiled egg. Close the container and shake it. This was perfect for my little ones at school! After we were all done I added a little water and I took it home to dry for the sensory table the next day. The little ones had a blast! And I had a perfect picture for my rainbow, only a few days early.
