Yesterday the first egg hatched and especially my husband was worried about the little one as it seemed that mom was sitting on it. Today I checked many times and around lunchtime "Peep" (that is what we called it) was sitting next to mom. After that we didn't see Peep any more, but we are now confident that mom indeed knows what she is doing!
