Yesterday evening I finished the Dear Jane quilt! My husband helps holding it and my son took the picture.
I started last October and planned to work on it for at least 2 years, but with Corona it went a lot faster! I'm not 100% happy with the triangle border because I did not measure well. Fortunately it was too big and I could cut some strips of fabric. But that made the triangles little wonky and they are not all the same size. However, it is no problem as it is not going to a Quilt show.
And if I am crazy enough to do it again, I will do better!
That is insanely awesome!!! Trust me, i know what I'm saying when I'm saying: only you know what is wrong there. From an outside pov, you did an amazing wonderful job. You should be proud of it. And just accept what you think is not as you expected. That is the personality of the piece and makes it irrepetable. Congratulations.
This is stunning and the colours are just beautiful. I can't see anything wrong with it at all. So much hard work has gone into this. You are extremely talented.
Fav. Such elaborate work went into making this quilt. Each patch has a lovely design which merge very beautifully together. You did a great job and you must be very patient to have made it. Nice to see you, too.
