This is the mosque close to the school my kids go to. Because the school entrance for the High School are different now than for the Middle School and the elementary school, I wait very close to this mosque when I pick up Yelena.
I edited this photo with Photoshop and the oil paint filter (plus some other filters). Before I could not use the oil paint filter because the graphic card was not right, but yesterday, when I was away my husband changed the graphic card!
This mosque has a big parking lot and memories of Demyan's story from last school year make me laugh. In 11th grade he had the opportunity to go on a trip abroad and chose the Spain trip. Because a bicycle tour was planned in Barcelona all students going on the trip needed to proof that they could ride a bicycle... They used the parking lot in the picture. Being Dutch, my husband thought it was a little ridiculous, but it turned out that it was not. There were 2 students out of a group of 20 that were sent away to practice and retest a week later...
They made it and all have been very lucky because they went on the trip and returned, just a week before everything was shut down due to Corona.
