Bananas....

It is amazing what can grow on a little strip of half a meter.... It looks like a jungle! We have a lime tree that needs cutting and several banana trees that grow right through the lime tree.
And guess what? We have some bananas!

I told the lady who will look after Dino that if they are ready before we get back she should take them.

Lovely to see. Banana tree can grow here but the fruit is somewhat stunned. We always have some bananas at home - Max loves them.

I planted a banana tree behind our pool and it multiplied so fast we had to remove like 25 trees after just two years! I’m glad Dino has a friend to watch him while you are gone. You had another dog too?

Our neighbour has banana trees but has to net them or else the possums would eat them.

@louannwarren Yes because Dino is almost 12 and because the lady (a live-in maid of a neighbor) is very happy to watch him, he stays home.
The other dog is the one we have been fostering. I dropped him off at a kennel just now. Dino and Baloo get along better now, but leaving them home alone together is no option yet.

Those trees look like a jungle lol, and the leaves are not always nice looking bit you got the best fruits tho!
