Spent most of the afternoon making a pinhole camera for my 7 year old niece - I think I used too large a needle though as hers won't work so back to making more. Got plenty of washing done too. There is something very satisfying about washing drying outside. The weekend has flown past, had a great meal on Friday to celebrate my mum's birthday, went to the beach yesterday - freezing but good to get out. Today has been gorgeous - wonderful to only be wearing 2 layers instead of 5 !!
Lifting the ordinary to the extraordinary. The rotary clothes lines like these remind me of NZ in the 70s. We used to hang on to the bar while someone spun the line. Good fun. And lucky niece to experience the magic of pinhole.
There is always a strong human element in your photos, whether or not a human is actually present. Incredible. Often rather nostalgic, too. This one is a fav for me.
Great lines and I absolutely love the blurring of the clothes especially the movement of the white on the left. I am trying to work out what it is that I find so magical about this Ingrid - I wonder perhaps if its tied up with memory and nostalgia sort of of the happiest of just 'being' before life gets in the way. I am looking through fresh eyes and I love what I see.
