cyanotype bottles

Cyanotype contact printed from an old negative. The texture is from the paper as the neg is 35 mm and is tiny. I'm really interested in alternative processes - I have a day off tomorrow thankfully and will catch up with everyone. Many thanks for comments

Your photos always take me somewhere. Sometimes I imagine tooling around old thrift stores or markets.

Really? We'd never have guessed ;) I love that you're trying all this stuff out, even if I don't understand any of it...

someone was explaining how to make cyanotypes on a photo forum I frequent, and after seeing your shot I'm tempted to give it a go. it gives shots a lovely vintage feel. a fav.

@spookydirt So easy Andrew, you can make digital negatives too although I was happy with the detail from 35mm. Getting Potassium Dichromate is getting trickier though, Silverprint is the company I use for alternative process chems and they don't sell it any more. However you might be able to get it in kit form. Definately have a go, very satisfying and development is water!!

@ingrid2101 I am so tempted!
