polaroid cottage

Taken at the end of October when my schoolfriend Morag came down from Shetland, she'd contacted me on facebook to say her granny's old cottage was abandoned. the really lovely thing is she was down for Christmas as well so I met up with her and 2 other friends and we had lunch again. This wouldn't have happened without social networking. I'm slowly going to get all my polaroids scanned and have a digital record of them. This was the first from the pack, the camera spat the rest out one after another. Another camera for the dump...
Impossible film - £17 for one shot, eh no thanks

Wow, expensive but very cool. I like the tones and the soft focus. It looks like it smells earthy.

How nice that you have knowledge of its past via your friendships.

Wow! That's one expensive shot, but a beautiful one. I love the overgrowth, and the Polaroid gives this the perfect feel.

I find impossible film impossible anyway, but the tones are old and archival looking

I recently saw a movie called ' the decoy bride' filmed in Scotland. All your lovely landscapes, dramatic sea coasts and derelict cottages were there! It is a nice little fluff of a story in that beautiful context of your seaside. :-)
