My 4th or 5th visit back to this amazing cottage - watching the speed the decay takes place is quite amazing. I do not find these kinds of places sad, this was a happy family home for a lot of years. I've spoken to the woman who lived here as a child, basically the house has been empty for around 40 years. The floor at the front door is rotting away and I was a bot worries at the creaks as I moved over bits of wood, the realisation that I've put on a lot of weight since I stopped smoking. oops, time to get the bike out i think...
