I love Hoy, I love looking at it and I love visiting it, I was over for a couple of days in July but haven't been back since. Unfortunately my job restricts when I can get over.
I can imagine your love for Hoy. It's beautiful! We live close to Moel y Gest, a mountain I see daily, and I have seen it from many different angels and I still love it. It's like an anchor point for me.
@mbrunner I don't know how long you have in Scotland but Skye and the west coast is a must if you have time. The scenery up from the Kyle to Durness is unbelievable. It made me cry the last time. If you plan on coming over to Orkney then do get in touch and if I can halp in any way I will.

We will have a full month, arriving June 5th. That should allow to spend enough time. Starting our journey in Edinburgh - thats the plan so far. Normally we plan day by day... :-)
