I had the company of my daughter and her boyfriend this afternoon. I was so delighted that a 15 and 16 year old wanted to spend time with me. We went to the brough of Birsay - a tidal island_ I'd checked that we could go over the causeway, we walked up to the lighthouse. This was coming down the west side of the island and the monument on the cliff top is Kitcheners memorial. We then walked west to a whalebone along the coast. Another amazing day for January, love it - nearly light by 5pm too
Only two days until film february if anyone is thinking of joining in, just do it !
Gorgeous light! Lucky you to have the teens interested in tagging along... my kids wouldn't be caught dead with me unless they needed me to pay for something or drive them somewhere ;p
