I went for a walk at lunchtime today and wondered why I'd taken on so much that I hardly had any time for photography, I miss this project and thought I'd like to get into it again after Christmas then I realised I'd do it tonight, although the photo is from 6 weeks ago... I did take some photos but they are film and I have quite a few different film projects that I HAVE to get done - for my own piece of mind... I love going to the north point in Birsay to take photos - it has so much and is always different - really lovely to park and have the beach to myself.

I never made it up to Orkney this year, hopefully next year, and finally get to Shetland.
I did get, in September two week tour of the Western Isles. Mile upon mile of huge, massive, absolutely beautiful white or golden sandy beaches.
Normally deserted, but occasionally crowded with as many as three other people in the far distance.
