I nearly didn't go out but realised I needed to make the most of the light that was left and get away from housework. This time of year is so frustrating, by the time I get organised half the day has gone...
I decided to go to Birsay but it was really blowy when I got there and not suitable for long exposures so I headed down to Stromness instead. I drove to Warbeth and was delighted to find wet sand for reflections - the island is Hoy and I must get across soon - it's my favourite to get away to.
Thank you anyone that favs/comments, my intentions are to get more involved in this community again but I think there will always be an element of catching up to do
I know what you mean about half the day being gone before being able to do anything with it, and by then it's time to wrap up. Always nice to make it to this side of the solstice. This is quite a reward for your efforts! Thanks for sharing with us.
