Walked around the park this afternoon when the rain stopped to increase the step count and see if there were any photo opportunities.
Had a bit of technical trouble with the camera (may have been operator error) so used my phone camera. Came across a few squirrels who looked like they were waiting for someone to take their photo but when one sneaked up on me and started to run up my leg I dropped the phone in surprise and failed to get any pictures of them. Never mind, I know where they are....
I'd been thinking about the Eagles and the sad death of Glenn Frey which I'd heard about this morning. Looking at this scene this afternoon, the clouds began to part and it made me think of their song 'There's A Hole in the World' - it really does feel that way tonight.
I loved the Eagles and was thrilled to see them in concert recently. I was amazed to hear their music was even better played live in a big arena that it was on the stereo at home. Thanks for the music and the memories Glenn.
