Beautiful light this evening in Liverpool, I took lots of photos of the sunset over the river but it was this one of the sail training ship moored at the Albert Dock which really caught my eye.
I went into work for a few hours today then had a walk around the Albert Dock with the camera - today's lesson is to actually take a spare battery with you, not charge it up then leave it at home. This afternoon there were 2 people climbing up the mast of this ship to work on one of the sails, they looked very precarious - rather them than me - no battery power so no photo.
Anyway, I thought the evening light might be worth a trip home for the spare battery. I'm glad I did.
And the perfect finish to the day - Liverpool 3 Exeter 0 in the FA Cup replay. Feel sorry though for the Exeter fans who have a long trip back home.
