I love the colours of the glass in these windows we saw today at the John Rylands Library in Manchester.
The pieces of glass in the window are called roundels and were all taken out, cleaned and re-leaded when the building was renovated a few years ago.
Quite a coincidence that I've been to two libraries in two days but stumbled upon this quite by chance as we walked from the train station to the shops. It's an amazing building with stunning architecture - a highlight of the day!
@sstcowan@onewing@paulaw@bkbinthecity thank you all, it certainly was interesting to look at all the different windows inside the building, from the outside they looked quite plain.
