Rescue me!

We went to Crosby Beach today to see Anthony Gormley's art installation of 100 iron men. Someone thought one of them needed rescuing!

They stretch along the beach for 2 miles and at high tide some of them are completely submerged. they've been here for more than 10 years now so some of them are looking quite weathered, it's really interesting to see how they've changed over the years.

@alophoto The beach stretches along the coast for quite a few miles and these figures just on the first 2 miles, out into the sea for about half a mile. They look quite strange when the tide is high. They look great though!
