These bluebells in my garden are not the native English variety but the cultivated Spanish sort. When I got home from work today the light in the garden was lovely and there was very little wind. They look so lovely, some blue, some white and a few pale pink.
I discovered that the bulbs and stems of the bluebell were once used to make a form of glue for book binding, and for fixing arrow flights. I don't think I'll be needing to use them for either or those things, but you never know.
