I lost count of how many bees I saw today on these plants today, they were all over it. There's even a tiny insect on the small flower which I didn't see it until I was processing the image.
I had an hour in the park this afternoon, it was so good to be out with the camera again!
How amazing! I have so many pictures of exactly the same subject matter on the same plant from my garden, that I took yesterday! I looked up the plant and it is Echinops retro, Vetch's Blue, common name Globe Thistle! Well done!
@marshwader it was amazing to see so many bees on them. Great flowers, definitely getting some for the garden next year. At least I know what to ask for now, thanks!
