A place to reflect

Cold, wet and windy again so we had the beach to ourselves today.

The tide was so far out we could see the iron men statues that would normally be submerged at high tide, this one looks very barnacled.

We took a few moments to reflect and enjoy the peace and quiet before heading back to the real world!

I love Antony Gormley's statues. This one could look quite creepy though if you didn't know it was a statue couldn't it. My favourite of his works has to be the Angel of the North.

I am working backwards! And, I have just mentioned these wonderfully evocative sculptures by Anthony Gormley. Every time you take an image the effect is completely different! Your image is one of moody contemplation. Well composed!
