We're still in Iceland, in Reykjavik for a second day today. We walked from the ship along the waterfront to explore the city, starting at the church at the top of the hill.
This is the interior of Hallgrims=kirkja, a really interesting design both inside and out. It's very minimalist inside but feels very calm and peaceful. The most ornate piece in the church was the organ which you can see in this photo. Unfortunately some of the concrete exterior was crumbling so it was undergoing repairs.
Spent the rest of the afternoon looking around the city, we really liked what we saw, lots of colourful buildings and street art, sculptures and arty shops and quite a large park in the centre with a lake. Really nice place to wander around.
We're setting sail tonight for Dublin so we'll be a couple of days at sea, hopefully we'll have wifi but not holding my breath!
