Milky way up there

The skies are quite dark at the place we go to in Cumbria so I decided to have a go at capturing the night sky. Once my eyes adjusted to the dark I could see so many stars, it was incredible.

I've not got a wide angle lens yet so this just a small part of what I saw but it was such a good opportunity to practise with such clear skies and no moon.
