Santa brought me some new filters so I couldn't wait to try a long exposure but it was too wet to set it all up at the lake yesterday. We ended up at Derwentwater this afternoon after a walk so set up the camera and tripod on the jetty and put the filter on, then tried various settings until I got something I could see.
I had some help from my lovely assistant who luckily had a watch on to time the exposure!
@rjb71 thanks Richard, I used the Big Stopper for this, didn't use it with the ND filter although I should have tried it with both together as well. Will do next time :-)
