It was our wedding anniversary today so we went for a romantic walk along some of the beaches in Harris. We started out in the sunshine on a beach in the south of the island then came here to Luskentyre where the beach stretches for miles.
It was quite windy today which seems to deter people from going out so we had the place to ourselves. By the time we were walking back the dark clouds were dominant in the sky, creating quite an atmospheric mood. No rain though despite the threatening look of the sky.
We found lots of gulls on the shoreline today, they were swooping up into the wind and gliding back down, it seemed like they were just playing.
