Turned

My mum's amaryllis is providing a showy display of the most fabulous colour on the outside, who knew the inside of it could be such a good subject for the b&w flash of red theme?

She keeps turning the plant to keep it growing straight, on the turn today the light caught the stamen and that caught my eye. I thought it probably suited the low key treatment in silver efex.

Of course, my mum wanted a lovely photo of the flowers in full colour, I think she might be a little disappointed with the outcome.
What an interesting shot!
