Around the park

I bought a crystal ball ages ago but hadn't ever used it, then couldn't find it when I wanted to take photos in the recent one week only challenge.

I found it stuffed in a bag last week so took it to the park just before sunset tonight to take a photo of the field of daffodils before they all fade. By the time I'd faffed about and found somewhere balance the ball it was nearly dark!

Next time I need to take something to put the ball on and a cloth to wipe off all the fingerprints!

Interesting experiment though, looking forward to using it again :)

If you haven't got a Perspex base for your ball you can always put it on a small coin, I find that holds it in place.

@onewing I've got the base but couldn't find anywhere to put it that was high enough to show the daffodils in the field, I tried a few different places but the result wasn't quite what I had in mind :) I'm going to experiment with some other ideas so if any of them work I'll post the results!
