The yellow field by inthecloud5

The yellow field

Coastal walk from Flamborough today, good to see the crops are flourishing after a slow start with the cold spring.

It was great to see Flamborough lighthouse appear so we could see how far we had to go. Very windy along the coast so the flowers weren't really still enough for a photo but I liked the look of the scene nevertheless :)

Thank you for all your lovely comments on yesterday's flying gannet. They'll be glad we didn't go back there today, I wonder if they get fed up with people pointing cameras at them!
Fabulous colours, a true sign of spring.

A lovely sight, the tractor tracks actually help to contain the viewing area!

So beautiful - is this canola? My eye sweeps through the scene right to the lighthouse. Really lovely image!

@365karly1 thanks for your lovely comment :) it's called rapeseed in the UK but I'm pretty sure it's the same as canola, it certainly brightens up the landscape!
