Peregrine chick

We were lucky to see three chicks on the peregrine falcon's nest today, once we saw them move they were easy to see but really well camoflauged so quite hard to find while they were lying still.

The nest is just on the cliffs, clearly visible from a coastal road just outside Douglas. They're quite a big attraction with plenty of people taking a look, we talked to some visitors from New Zealand who had come to watch the TT races and were taking some time out to enjoy some of the island's natural beauty.
Someone must have known about these - something you wouldn't normally see while driving around! Excellent capture of this fluffy chick looking a bit worried!

His feet are so big, looks like he'll trip over them.
