It was good to see the lapwings close by when we were in the hide at Martin Mere, even on a dull day their feathers looked much more colourful than they appear to be from far away.
This one was having a look at us although it didn't seem disturbed by us watching it.
Been stuck in the house with a virus for a couple of days so haven't taken any photos, this is one I took last week and edited today.
