Straightforward

A simple leading line from the churchyard gate to this chapel nestled in the hills near Ullswater.

I'm sure this isn't the original path but as I stood here I thought about all the people who must have walked along here since the chapel was built in 1686, it boggles my mind :)

Goodness,I had no idea that was there. Is it really that old? 1686? Amazing.

@dailydelight it's actually older than I thought, when I looked it up the date is 1573! The later date is for an alteration to the doorway.
