Been planning to photograph these tulips since the day they turned up in the house last week, when I finally got around to it today I discovered they were looking rather withered.
As I took them out of the vase the petals started to drop until I was left with this rather reduced version.
However, even at this stage of life they are rather lovely to photograph, so here's the result of a very quick photo session with this one, just hanging on to the last of the petals.
Added a couple of textures in photoshop to practise what I've been learning in the last couple of days.
Had another busy few days but doing photographic things this week so it's been very positive :) Hope to catch up here soon.
This is stunning Christine, love the processing. Could you maybe point me in the direction of what you have been learning? there is so much and I don't know where to start ;-)
@ludwigsdiana thanks Diana :)
This image wasn't quite the result I wanted because I used a different method to add textures and I don't like them as much as the way I've done them in the past. There are so many different ways to achieve the same result, I've decided in future I'm sticking with the way I know! I'm probably not much help to you, I'm such a Photoshop novice but the tutorials on the Adobe website definitely help. Good luck :)
