The fast ferry from Liverpool to the Isle of Man started again today for the summer so we decided to go and visit my mum for the weekend.
This is the view as we waited to depart, the sun was turning red as it set on the other side of the river, casting a beautiful light on the 'Three Graces' at the Pier Head. These buildings look different in every photo but I think sunset is probably the best time to capture them. Ten minutes later they looked grey and dull!
