We stopped by the bay to watch the seals and saw this diving duck appear with an eel (bird book says it's a male red breasted merganser)
Just a few seconds later an eider duck swam across and pestered the duck until it dropped the fish, I don't know why, maybe it was just chasing it away.
Poor duck swam away without his dinner.
