One of the most photographed trees in Britain, here at Sycamore Gap on Hadrian's Wall, also featured in the Robin Hood Prince of Thieves film with Kevin Costner.
It was great to see this tree after seeing so many photos of it, we waited and waited for a break in the weather, it didn't happen but I liked the drama of the clouds in this shot. Not many people out walking in the rain but luckily these three came along and stood under the tree just as I was taking photos.
A bit of a gap in my project too now. I've missed this, it's been really odd not having 365 as part of my day, but I've been doing lots of photography things so that's been good.
Hope to be able to pop in a bit more regularly now and look forward to catching up with you all soon :)
@pistache thank you, it's good to be back :)
Been trying to get out of my comfort zone...I did a couple of portrait workshops and some photoshop training but have been spending most of my time preparing photos for RPS and photo society distinctions, much still to do but it's an interesting journey (if a little nerve-racking at times!)
