The full stop

Sunset at the most northerly point of Britain, the rock on the far right of the image is known as Out Stack, or the full stop. The rock in the middle is Muckle Flugga where you'll see Britain's most northerly lighthouse.

I used an app on my phone to see where the rays would be as the sun set and we made our way there in the hope that there would be no cloud. The weather on the other days when we're here on Unst will be much more cloudy so I felt very fortunate to be able to see this today.
Wonderful sunset shot, reflection

Love how the ray of reflected light on the inside of the rocks creates a new triangle shape

Glad you got the sunset as I was up at 3:30 am for the sunrise and believe me when I say I went to bed with the sun still shining. And it is a beauty.

@teriyakih thank you :) I used The Photographer's Ephemeris, the phone app gives you everything you need for planning sunrise or sunset locations. There's a web version too which you can try, I find it easier to use on a bigger screen.
