After days of wind and rain, and another grim start to the day I thought I was going to struggle to get a picture. When I came out of work however the sun was just breaking through. I followed its direction and headed over to Quarr Abbey, as when driving past the entrance a couple of days ago the tree lined driveway had caught my eye.
Out of my car I hopped and went to take the shot only to realise that my SD card was at home in my laptop. Thank goodness for built in memory. This is the only shot I took. I have just cropped very slightly at the bottom and popped a frame around it. I was going to fiddle around with it a bit more - I do like trees in black and white, but being as it seems so long since I saw blue sky I have left it as it was.
Very nice capture, I agree. I don't know what photographier hasn't took photos missing their sd card. I did this awhile back and it was the only reason I went out, to get photos. Well, I don't have memory on my new camera, so back to the house to get the sd and try and beat the sun on getting my photos that day. LOL
@hunnybee@vposey thank you. I nearly did it again today! I have a spare SD card on order so hopefully that will help avoid me getting caught short in the future :)
