Day 9. Resorted to Plan B. I didn't have a phone in the house but I needed to make a call to one of those numbers that are free from a land line but not from a mobile and it was going to take ages so it was cheaper to buy a phone. This was the cheapest phone the shop had in stock. It is very loud, has a flashing light when it rings and has giant buttons. It didn't come with a free packet of Werther's Originals but I'm pretty sure that's the target demographic for this particular model. It's not even plugged in anymore.
