These spawning Brook Trout were in a little stream right off of Sprague Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. The female is digging a redd (a depression) where she will lay her eggs. Those will hatch around January and emerge in the spring. There were several couples busy, doing their thing, and the males never left their lady's side. ;)
