Waiting and watching him for 4.5 hours, I started to feel ok with giving up and missing him take flight. But, now that I have the photos, I'm so glad I persevered. (Which was really just me sitting inside by the fire and drinking coffee. There was nothing uncomfortable about it other than not being able to look away. )
